Conduct comprehensive vehicle-level analysis to support the design and optimization of aerospace systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine system designs, ensuring they meet performance and safety requirements
Provide demonstrated expertise in dynamics and vibration, applying aerospace principles, standards, theories, first-order analysis, and concepts to engineering projects
Analyze and interpret data from tests and simulations to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement
Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports to effectively communicate findings and support project objectives
Mentor junior engineers, providing technical expertise and supporting their professional development
Requirements
Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +3 yrs experience)
Typically 5+ years of related experience
Expertise in Dynamics and Vibration
Strong understanding of vehicle-level analysis and system design
Demonstrated use and application of Aerospace principles, standards, theories, first-order analysis, and concepts.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency with engineering software tools such as MATLAB, NASTRAN, ANSYS, or similar.
Experience with vehicle-level testing and validation
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) for structural dynamics
Experience with vibration and shock testing and analysis
Proficiency in using simulation tools for dynamic analysis.
