Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
Partner with data asset managers, architects, and development leads to ensure technical solutions are fit for use and aligned with architecture blueprints.
Build and operate GCP data pipelines (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataplex) and contribute to the evolution of the enterprise data lake toward open table formats and self-serve data sharing.
Operate and extend our data quality tooling (Anomalo) across all service lines, including embedding quality checks into CI/CD.
Maintain and improve cross-cloud data sharing between GCP and Azure Databricks, including Lakehouse Federation and modern open-format alternatives.
Develop reusable Terraform templates and contribute to self-serve project provisioning and policy guardrails.
Identify, design, and implement cost-reduction and process-improvement opportunities.
Contribute to and uphold coding standards and best practices to ensure services and components are efficient and reusable.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience in data engineering, data science, or related field.
Proficiency with data architecture and data processing tools.
Must-have: Working knowledge of Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog.
Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, Composer, Dataplex, IAM) and Terraform.
Strong Python and SQL skills.
Experience integrating data quality tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
