Role Overview
- Lead the UI team, design and iterate UX and drive the UI/UX deliverables for the project
- Build a UX strategy for a brand-new game, helping to shape the UX vision in collaboration with experts from the Design team
- Drive the delivery and quality of the UI for the project, mentoring and supporting UI designers, artists, and technical designers
- Proactively manage team performance and development through regular feedback and performance reviews
- Guide the creation of high-quality UI, ensuring this meets both the artistic vision and technical constraints
- Take ownership of UI design documentation, helping to define style, usability goals, and player experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help define and evolve workflows, pipelines, and long-term UI/UX goals
Requirements
- Experience designing UX/UI
- Experience managing a small team through all phases of the project lifecycle
- Portfolio showing experience designing high fidelity UI using industry standard tools, e.g., Adobe XD, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, etc
- Able to effectively communicate whilst building long-term, trusting relationships with a wide range of people
- Passionate about video games & games development.
