Role Overview
- Coordinates radiation therapist assignments under the supervision of the Radiation Oncology Manager
- Manages daily staffing requirements for radiation treatments
- Oversees administration of radiation therapy treatments and simulations as prescribed
- Collaborates with all functional areas to ensure smooth patient care flow
- Orients and trains staff on new procedures/equipment
- Participates in departmental Quality Assurance and Improvement committees
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school for therapeutic radiologic technology
- Registered in RTT with a current valid Massachusetts license or equivalent education and experience
- Must be registered by the ARRT and hold a valid Mass. License
- 5 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- 2 or more years of administrative experience preferred
