About this role
Role Overview
Supports relationship management and business development activities for a portfolio of large, complex agricultural clients across Ontario
Works closely with Senior Directors and internal partners to deliver customized financing solutions
Manages strategic client relationships with sophisticated agricultural producers and agribusiness clients
Supports new business origination efforts and assists in executing complex credit structures
Oversees portfolio management activities, identifies growth opportunities, and contributes to the delivery of the Bank’s full suite of financial solutions
Partners closely with credit, adjudication, and product teams to support underwriting, transaction execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring
Analyzes credit information to support lending decisions and processes
Makes credit decisions and recommendations in compliance with bank policies and procedures
Negotiates loan structures and terms that align client requirements with bank risk appetite
Assesses client repayment capacity using financial models and analytical tools
Monitors portfolio to identify deteriorating credit conditions and compliance
Evaluates portfolio performance and recommends capital allocation strategies
Leads proposal development and delivers presentations
Requirements
5 – 7 years of relevant experience in credit or lending instruments or financial operations in a corporate or banking environment
Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred
Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience
Structuring Deals foundational level of proficiency
Advanced level of proficiency in Problem Solving, Collaboration, Detail-Oriented, Customer Service, Loan Structuring, Regulatory Compliance, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Assessment, Banking Operations
