Develop, maintain, and optimize Stored Procedures used in analytical processes and data integrations for BI environments.
Create high-performance SQL queries to support reports, KPIs, and management dashboards.
Implement and maintain ETL processes and data loading routines.
Work in partnership with BI teams and business areas to understand requirements, analyze scenarios, and define technical solutions.
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve issues related to query and database process performance.
Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of data made available in analytical environments.
Support maintenance, evolution, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of database processes.
Contribute to the optimization of data structures and the enhancement of the organization's analytical routines.
Requirements
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Advanced knowledge of T-SQL for developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex queries.
Experience manipulating data using SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements.
Development and maintenance of Stored Procedures, Functions (scalar and table-valued), and database objects focused on analytical processes and integrations.
Knowledge of data modeling for Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse environments, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring data quality, integrity, and reliability.
Experience importing, exporting, and processing CSV, XLS, TXT files and other formats used in data integrations.
Knowledge of performance analysis and database tuning, including execution plans, index creation, partitioning, and query optimization.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence architecture, KPIs, reports, and analytical dashboards.
Experience with technical documentation, code standardization, and application of development best practices.
Ability to work closely with business areas and BI teams to gather requirements and provide strategic data.
Analytical, consultative, and proactive profile with the ability to identify improvements and propose solutions that meet business needs.
Good interpersonal communication and ease interacting with users and multidisciplinary teams.
