Be in charge of an iconic client portfolio and manage the full cycle of audit assignments.
Assist proactively in managing a portfolio of clients, including day-to-day client liaison and technical issues management.
Responsible for business development activities to identify opportunities with new/existing clients while building and maintaining strong relationships.
Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges and enhance team’s technical acumen.
Manage and deliver large projects ensuring key deadlines are met.
Design the audit strategy and manage the audit execution per engagement leader guidance.
Advise clients on financial reporting and regulatory developments, staying updated with regulatory changes.
Manage client relations with senior management, including delivering presentations to boards and audit committees.
Adhere to compliance with risk, quality, and independence matters.
Stay current with local and national business and economic issues.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members reporting to you, ensuring their well-being.
Encourage involvement in digital initiatives and alternative delivery models for robust audits.
Participate in the recruitment process for interviewing and selecting candidates as per PwC hiring standards.
Requirements
A degree in accounting, finance or other related academic major.
Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in external financial audit in one of the big 4.
Completed a recognised professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA.
Experience in auditing diverse range of industries.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment.
Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus.
Strong project management skills and experience managing an audit from planning to completion.
Knowledge in any Audit technologies, and experience using Data Analytics tools is a plus.
