Field Service Engineer, Cryogenic Solutions

Role Overview

• Install, modify, repair, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance on cryogenic storage equipment
• Support customers using automated cryo storage systems and ensure optimal system performance
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment with safety protocols
• Accurately document service activities through Service Reports, Status Reports, and performance summaries
• Respond productively to changing priorities, including system alerts and escalations
• Act as a point of contact for customers and internal Azenta management
• Provide weekly system performance summaries and support KPI measurement requests

Requirements

• Associate of Science (AS) degree, technical certificate, or equivalent hands-on technical training
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience, or equivalent military technical training
• Strong electrical and mechanical fundamentals
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to obtain a valid passport during employment
• Ability to successfully pass background screening requirements
• Located on the US East Coast with convenient access to a major airport
