Senior Associate – Special Counsel, Corporate Commercial

Role Overview

• Work on corporate, governance, commercial, M&A, and insurance regulatory and advisory instructions
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents
• Project manage transactions and work with other legal teams
• Manage due diligence processes
• Advise clients on corporate governance and compliance issues
• Build external client relationships and assist with business development
• Mentor junior associates and provide training

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as a corporate lawyer
• Solid and consistent corporate transactional experience
• Understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment in the insurance industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
