Role Overview
- Build new back-end features, services, and APIs.
- Analyse and understand functional and technical requirements.
- Work on statistical and analytical features end-to-end.
- Review pull requests from other engineers.
- Maintain applications and perform code and infrastructure upgrades.
- Handle data migrations, backfilling, and large dataset operations.
- Mentor and coach other Software Engineers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated senior-level expertise in Software Engineering with proven back-end experience.
- Strong Python fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Django.
- Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
- Experience designing and building REST APIs at scale.
- Solid testing practice — unit and integration.
- Comfortable around applied statistics.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
