Role Overview
- serves as a statistical department resource
- oversees or develops training plans for Biostatistics associates
- conducts training sessions for new hires
- prepares Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
- collaborates with sponsors as required
- reviews SAS database design and other study documentation
- creates or reviews programming specifications
- directs activities of biostatistics personnel on assigned projects
- manages scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects
- conducts and participates in verification and quality control of project deliverables
- supports business development activities
Requirements
- mentoring biostatisticians on job skills
- overseeing or developing training plans
- conducting training sessions
- preparing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
- reviewing SAS annotated case report forms (CRFs)
- creating or reviewing programming specifications
- directing activities of other biostatistics personnel
- providing independent review of project work
- managing scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects
- identifying out of scope tasks and escalating to management
- preparing in advance for internal meetings
- displaying willingness to work with others
- minimal travel may be required
