- Mentors biostatisticians on job skills
- Conducts training sessions for new hires and existing personnel
- Prepares Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
- Collaborates with sponsor if required
- Responsible for statistical aspects of the protocol and clinical study report
- Creates or reviews programming specifications for analysis datasets
- Directs activities of biostatistics personnel on projects
- Monitors progress on study activities and milestones
- Provides statistical programming support as needed

- Prepares for internal meetings and contributes ideas
