Develops and recommends technical solutions to support client’s requirements in solving moderately complex software problems.
Focus areas include analytical and engineering-based problem solving and solutions based on IHS standards and conventions (SAC).
Responsibilities include secure system engineering and development, utilizing technical and analytical skills.
Designs test scenarios for functional and regression testing of complex software solutions.
Investigates and resolves software support tickets submitted by end users.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree computer science/systems, information systems/technology engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics, or business/finance degree from an accredited college or university.
Eight years’ experience, of which at least six years must be specialized experience including the design and development of HIT systems.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
15+ years of software development experience.
Significant intensive and progressive experience with FileMan/M (MUMPS) programming.
Work with a multidisciplinary team of developers.
Engage in system design, software development, implementation, and training.
Understanding of Agile processes and related QA lifecycle.
Advanced knowledge of the VA and IHS environments, RPMS or legacy VISTA.
Proven ability to work on a remote/distributed team.
