About this role

Active participation in the preparation of periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with HGB
Timely preparation and submission of monthly financial KPIs to the group headquarters
Act as the central contact for internal and external audits and coordinate with external auditors
Responsibility for day-to-day accounting operations including fixed-asset accounting as well as VAT and statistical filings
Provide professional guidance and development to the on-site accounting team
Further development of accounting processes and maintenance of interfaces with international group entities

Degree in business/economics or a commercial qualification
Relevant practical experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an industrial company with international group affiliation
Confident application of HGB accounting standards, including independent preparation of financial statements
Proficient use of common ERP systems and Excel; experience with reporting and consolidation tools is an advantage
Independent, structured approach combined with strong communication skills and team spirit
Fluent English and German, spoken and written
