Role Overview
- Design and deliver industry-leading systems with other Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Architects
- Actively participate in application and database design, data flows, and detailed technical design
- Own non-functional requirements around performance, security, and scalability
- Drive best practices around real-time logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Proactively drive the enhancement of continuous integration to improve deployment processes
- Identify obstacles, risks, and issues that may impact the technical product and work on mitigation
- Provide Run support for technical products within the Squad
- Support other team members to improve their skills
Requirements
- Overall 4 years experience into Backend Developer
- Proficiency in Java and backend development
- Experience with AWS Lambda, AWS services, and microservices
- Strong knowledge of REST API and SOAP development
- Proficiency in SQL, Docker, GitLab, and BitBucket
- Expertise with testing frameworks (JUnit, JMockito) and code quality tools (SonarQube)
- Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle, Ant)
- Solid understanding of Linux/UNIX systems
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, SafeAgile)
