Role Overview
- Champion customer corrective actions
- Interacting with all persons related to corrective actions from the shop floor associates to the customer
- Participate in scrap reduction activities
- Including significant time reviewing mixing and molding processes on the shop floor
- Measure and improve process capability
- Coordinate supplier qualification process
- Continually improve SOPs
- Participate in APQP activities
- Participate in training activities
- Supervise Quality Audit Team
- Promote zero defect culture
Requirements
- Engineering degree preferred
- Self-motivated
- Multiple problem-solving methods
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- MS Office
- Experience with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Experience with APQP and new product launches (preferred)
- Experience with rubber mixing and rubber molding (preferred)
- Working knowledge of SPC, Process Capability, Metrology, Gage Control, GD&T, DOE, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Internal Auditing, PPAP, Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plan, 3x5 Why, Ishikawa diagrams (preferred)
