Lead Systems Designer

Role Overview

• Accountable for design systems quality and on-time delivery
• Directly supervises Systems Designers
• Oversees design, prototyping, and iteration of gameplay systems
• Collaborates with Gameplay Programming counterparts
• Writes and updates gameplay system documentation
• Maintains systems design schedule and prioritizes work
• Reviews design work and drives iteration and quality

Requirements

• Managing and mentoring a team of Systems Designers
• Prototyping and implementing gameplay systems
• Intermediate knowledge of level editing tools and scripting (Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar editors)
• Intermediate knowledge of Maya or other major 3D modeling programs
• Adobe Illustrator experience and UE4 Blueprint scripting skills are a plus
• Strong communication skills including verbal and written skills
