Using the commercial information provided by the buyer, create and maintain prices in purchasing info records, quantity agreements and related purchase orders in SAP
Maintain material master data and assist with maintaining supplier master data, including address and contact person changes in SAP
Enter purchasing data in ESKO for the creation process of new articles and take over invoice correctness checks in SAP
In coordination with buyers, contact suppliers and handle communication on operational topics
Monitor and maintain contract confirmations and order confirmations from suppliers
Support buyers and quality assurance with complaint issues related to suppliers' product quality
Send, receive and maintain procurement routine correspondence and packages with product samples
Support buyers in maintaining other supplier-related documentation
Assist buyers with projects and activities by maintaining internal contacts and communicating with other departments

Completed vocational training in a commercial field and relevant professional experience in operational purchasing within an industrial company
Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP; experience with other order-related systems such as Jaggaer and ESKO is desirable
Ability to work independently within the scope of the above tasks and directives, reliability and commitment
Structured, proactive, results-oriented and accurate working style combined with entrepreneurial thinking and acting
Strong communication skills, reliability, team orientation and a personable manner
Proven good written and spoken German and English skills
