Serve as the primary facilities leader overseeing operations across the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus System, including the new UAMS Surgical Hospital.
Initially focus on guiding the new surgical hospital through construction, commissioning, go-live, and into sustained operations.
Provide leadership for facility operations, including pre-opening construction oversight, facilities management, team supervision, safety and emergency management, financial and budget management, and strategic planning.
Report to the Executive Director of Engineering Operations and collaborate closely with clinical, operational, and administrative leadership across the regional campus system.
Lead a critical phase of facility development and ongoing operations for the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus System, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care across the region.

Bachelor’s Degree in facilities management, engineering, healthcare administration, or a related field plus six (6) years of progressive planning and facilities management experience, including at least two (2) years in a leadership or supervisory role.
OR High school diploma/equivalent plus ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in planning and facilities management, including at least two (2) years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Experience with healthcare construction or pre-opening facility operations.
Working knowledge of accreditation and licensure requirements for healthcare facilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendor relationships, and cross-functional partnerships.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
