You independently develop audience-appropriate technical customer documentation for our advanced products
You write the documentation in English using an XML-based authoring system
You work independently based on your technical knowledge, research, development documentation and product simulations, and conduct interviews with internal subject-matter experts when required
You support the entire documentation process: from research and creation of the information concept to publication and handover to translation
You develop clear information architectures, implement documentation concepts and actively contribute to the further development of our digital documentation products
You support the digitization of documentation processes and contribute your experience with new technologies and AI
You work closely with our editorial team as well as international teams from development and other departments
Requirements
Degree in engineering, natural sciences, a related field, or equivalent vocational training
Professional experience in technical communication and proficiency in documentation methods such as topic-based authoring, single-source publishing and cross-media publishing
Solid knowledge of XML-based authoring systems
Experience collaborating in agile environments, documenting products with short release cycles, and working with version control and change-management tools
Quick comprehension, strong technical interest, and the willingness to independently familiarize yourself with complex technical topics
Programming experience or knowledge of a programming language, as well as demonstrable experience using AI
Strong analytical and abstract reasoning skills
Excellent German and English skills, including mastery of technical terminology
