About this role
Role Overview
Support the Program Manager in daily leadership of a multi-disciplinary IT service delivery team across multiple disciplines.
Oversee contract performance, staffing, resource allocation, and adherence to SLAs.
Lead internal and customer meetings, briefings, and communications.
Serve as acting Program Manager when required.
Serve as a primary liaison with the Prime Contractor, government stakeholders, and internal teams.
Ensure clear communication, alignment with mission objectives, and responsiveness to evolving requirements.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve program goals and support regional growth initiatives.
Identify opportunities for program improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and performance standards.
Monitor program metrics, prepare reports, and support data driven decision making.
Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all deliverables.
Support resource planning, scheduling, and tasking of technical and functional specialists.
Ensure efficient use of personnel and budget resources.
Assist with budget development, tracking, and financial performance oversight.
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and financial risks.
Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and security requirements, including cybersecurity policies and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Management, or related field.
PMP or PgMP certification required; ITIL certification preferred.
3+ years of program leadership experience.
Proven leadership that empowers teams and drives high performance.
Ability to collaborate across diverse organizations and stakeholder groups.
Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of IT technologies, vendors, and enterprise products.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and project management software.
Experience with federal contracting, FAR, and SBA related processes (preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience in program or project management within federal, defense, or enterprise IT environments.
Strong understanding of IT service delivery, service management frameworks, and operational support models.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex technical operations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
