Build and operate media mix models (Media Mix Modeling
MMM);
Design incrementality and quasi-experiments to measure the causal effects of different media types;
Collaborate with multidisciplinary advertising teams to deliver business-relevant solutions for Globo's advertisers;
Act in a consultative capacity with senior stakeholders, translating complex statistical concepts into actionable business strategies;
Influence Globo's medium
and long-term strategy for advertising measurement products;
Conduct exploratory data analyses and create statistical visualizations to support business decisions;
Collaborate on building infrastructure to scale measurement solutions;
Serve as a technical lead for the team, mentoring junior scientists and defining the organization's code quality and statistical rigor standards;
Drive the continuous improvement of production solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science), or Bachelor's plus a Lato Sensu postgraduate specialization in a quantitative field;
Professional experience: 4+ years in the market, or 2+ years with a completed master's degree (in a quantitative field), or 1+ year with a completed PhD (in a quantitative field);
Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL;
Experience with cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
Deep knowledge of causal inference;
Strong expertise in statistical inference, especially Bayesian methods;
Solid mathematical foundations in statistical modeling and machine learning;
Experience with time series models;
Ability to communicate insights, analyses, and complex concepts to diverse audiences.
