Advise and support managers and employees on a broad range of HR topics (e.g. absenteeism, performance management, employee relations).
Maintain constructive employee and labour relations with unions and other social consultation bodies.
Ensure compliance with labour law, relevant regulations, internal policies and Hydro procedures.
Safeguard HR compliance in line with company values, local legislation and internal guidelines.
Coordinate recruitment activities and collaborate with external partners such as temporary employment and recruitment agencies.
Implement, coordinate and support HR processes and initiatives such as performance management, talent development, onboarding and employee engagement in line with Hydro guidelines.
Follow up on workforce planning, workforce topics and HR reports.
Support organizational changes and transformation initiatives within the plant.
Act as a visible and approachable HR contact on the production site.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or equivalent.
Experience in a broad HR role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Experience with employee and labour relations and consultation with unions/social partners is a must.
Solid experience with Belgian labour law and general HR processes.
Experience with payroll or personnel administration is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with different levels within the organization.
Good command of German and English is required.
French is considered a strong plus.
