Manage network support and related tasks as directed by the client’s designated lead.
Provide services focused on network setup, documentation, support, and new site installations.
Configure and install various network devices and services, including but not limited to: Routers, switches, and firewalls. Load balancers, VPNs, and QoS configurations.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including applying service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
Conduct system resource monitoring, trending, and capacity planning.
Adhere to established configuration and change management policies, ensuring all changes are reviewed, approved, and successfully implemented.
Collaborate with the company’s security team to select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures.
Provide technical support for network and system-related issues within strict SLA windows.
Requirements
Expertise in networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto)
In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and VPN technologies
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, IMAP, POP3, and other communication protocols
Proficiency in Windows Server management; experience with Active Directory, MFA, and related systems
Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and integration with messaging systems
Strong familiarity with ITIL standards and maintaining PCI compliance in network environments
Knowledge of ticketing systems with a proven ability to manage and resolve tickets promptly
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Local to Dallas area and available to go onsite to customer locations as needed.
