Director of Operations

Role Overview

• Provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organization
• Develops and implements long and short-term strategies to achieve financial and growth targets
• Ensures operational excellence within and across our core services
• Provides leadership and creates an environment that fosters passion, teamwork and agility within the organization
• Builds and sustains long-term client relationships
• Plans and successfully executes start-up facilities for new business
• Contributes as a key member to our sales and solutions team in winning key strategic accounts
• Develops and implements an operations strategy tailored to our client.

Requirements

• Master’s degree preferred
• Third-party logistics experience is preferred but not required
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications
• Involvement in relevant professional organizations is desirable
• English (reading, writing, and verbal)
• Intermediate mathematical, accounting, and financial skills
• Excellent verbal, written and visual/presentation communication skills.
