About this role
Role Overview
Validate end-to-end business processes across multiple applications and integrated systems.
Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and End-to-End Testing to ensure application quality.
Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, execution results, and defects.
Perform API testing using Postman and other API validation tools.
Validate REST APIs, web services, and system interfaces to ensure accurate data exchange.
Execute SQL queries to validate backend data and business transactions.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
Support release validation and deployment verification activities.
Recommend enhancements to testing processes, methodologies, and quality practices.
Maintain accurate testing documentation and status reporting.
Requirements
4–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, System Integration Testing, or Enterprise Application Testing.
Strong hands-on experience with System Integration Testing (SIT) and End-to-End Testing.
Proficiency in SQL for database validation, data reconciliation, and backend testing.
Experience performing API testing using Postman and validating REST services.
Strong understanding of Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Smoke Testing methodologies.
Experience working with JSON, XML, and API response validation.
Familiarity with defect tracking and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience analyzing logs, debugging issues, and supporting root cause investigations.
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and test management tools is an advantage.
Experience with enterprise platforms, complex integrations, and data-intensive applications is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple testing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
