About this role
Role Overview
Assist with analyzing suspicious websites, ad tags, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Support investigations into malicious redirects, cloaking, scam campaigns, ad fraud, e-skimming, and other web-based threats
Help identify tactics, techniques, and procedures used in malicious campaigns
Review scan results, HAR files, screenshots, and other evidence related to malware detections
Assist in documenting findings and preparing internal investigation notes
Help create reports summarizing malicious behavior, indicators, and campaign characteristics
Research domains, URLs, IPs, scripts, and other indicators related to suspicious activity
Work with analysts to improve malware detection, signatures, and investigation workflows
Learn how programmatic advertising, third-party code, and digital supply chains can be abused by threat actors
Communicate findings clearly to internal teams
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Computer Information Systems, or a related IT field
Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, malware, phishing, web threats, or threat intelligence
Interest in static and dynamic analysis of suspicious code or web activity
Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C, C++, or Ruby
Ability to research technical topics and document findings clearly
Strong attention to detail and curiosity about how attacks work
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a remote team
Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and security concepts
