About this role

Investigate, diagnose, and resolve network issues across data, voice and audio environments
Provide advice on preventative strategies and identify alternative courses of action where standard remedies are insufficient
Design and implement network changes and maintenance routines in line with agreed standards
Deliver installation, removal, maintenance and acceptance of new and updated network components, services and applications
Monitor, measure, optimise and report on network load, performance and security
Automate routine networking tasks using standard tools and scripting

Current PV security clearance required
Australian citizenship required
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline, or 3+ years of equivalent professional networking experience
Solid grounding in network fundamentals including protocols, architectures, devices and topologies
Hands-on experience investigating, diagnosing and resolving complex network issues in enterprise or mission critical environments
Experience designing and implementing network changes, maintenance routines and component installations to documented standards
