Be a key strategic adviser to Executive Directors and senior leaders
Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes
Deliver sophisticated analysis, modelling and scenario planning
Support investment decisions and drive a culture of financial accountability and performance
Develop and mentor finance colleagues
Transform how the Directorate understands its costs, workforce requirements and operational performance
Lead the development of activity-based costing models and workforce planning tools
Identify opportunities, challenge assumptions and support major transformation initiatives through robust financial analysis
Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in finance business partnering
Strong commercial and analytical thinking
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Advanced financial modelling and problem-solving capability
The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance audiences
A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
Experience operating successfully within complex and changing environments
Senior Finance Business Partner role: Experience partnering with Executive Directors and senior leadership teams
Operational Finance Business Partner role: Experience with Activity-Based Costing (ABC) or similar unit-costing methodologies
