Work with Product Managers to create new features and improve existing systems
Design scalable solutions for growing user base
Help grow from a database to a data aggregator by improving data import capabilities
Lay groundwork for core product to be multilingual
Improve search engine to enhance user experience
Incorporate GenAI and RAG into core product
Share data and services externally via APIs

Building and deploying backend services that are consumed by other teams, products, or external partners
Working with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
Software engineering best practices: requirements gathering, code review, testing, version control, documentation
Designing scalable, maintainable backend systems
Collaborating with Product and domain experts to solve meaningful problems
Familiarity with search indexes, generative AI, devops and observability is a bonus.
