Engineer Surveyor, Lift & Crane

Role Overview

• manage your own diary to service your own client area
• develop relationships whilst representing Zurich Engineering
• conduct hands-on statutory inspections
• provide expert opinion on a wide range of equipment
• enable clients to comply with legislation and standards
• report back using a rugged laptop and issue electronically to clients
• communicate effectively and make sound engineering judgements.

Requirements

• level 4 qualification (HND / HNC etc.) in a relevant engineering field
• minimum level 3 – training will be offered to bring you up to competency and qualification level
• time served or Modern Apprenticeship
• hands-on experience in a relevant engineering discipline
• background in working with lifts and/or crane equipment (advantage)
• full valid UK driving licence
• be willing and able to work paid overtime.
