You define the retention baseline: repurchase rates, CLV and days between orders by market (DACH/NL), acquisition channel and customer segment as the ongoing control basis
You build an independent CRM reporting system from scratch: your own attribution logic, weekly performance management, a single source of truth
Proving incrementality is your craft
Holdout tests for the loyalty program, discount mechanics and core flows show what actually drives incremental revenue
You actively manage the subscription economy: identify churn drivers, quantify sign-up levers, and compare subscription CLV against one-time purchase CLV
You provide segmentation and targeting logic for all campaigns and flows
You set the direction and oversee execution for email and agency partners
You validate, calibrate and operationalize predictive analytics from Klaviyo (CLV, churn risk, next order date)
Requirements
At least 4–5 years of experience in retention, CRM analytics, growth or BI
A significant portion of that experience in a D2C or e-commerce company with a subscription or replenishment model
Cohort analyses, RFM logic, CLV modeling, churn analysis and incrementality testing (holdout designs, A/B architecture) are hands-on skills for you, not just theory
You work independently with Shopify data exports, Klaviyo data and data warehouse queries
Excellent Excel skills are required
You routinely use Claude Code or similar tools
You translate analyses into decision-ready summaries that a CEO can understand in five minutes, with a clear recommendation rather than twenty charts
Business-fluent in German or English
