Early involvement in product development projects (design-to-cost, make-or-buy) and standardization

Definition of evaluation criteria: technical performance, price, delivery time, quality, references

Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation or equivalent
Further training in procurement/SCM and/or contract law is an advantage
Additional business administration qualification (CAS, MBA, or similar) desirable
7–12 years' professional experience in mechanical engineering
At least 5 years in strategic procurement of technical systems
Experience in drafting and negotiating supply, framework and works contracts
Experience in special-purpose machinery, automation technology, packaging technology or similar
Hands-on experience conducting structured tenders and benchmarks for make-or-buy decisions and technical alternative assessments
