Lead the successful implementations of multiple concurrent software projects, building single unified program plans, ensuring on-time and in-scope implementations, and driving exceptional customer experiences.
Coordinate cross-functional internal teams – including Practice Operations, Clinical Leadership, Revenue Cycle Management, Product Management, Engineering, Data, etc. – and third-party vendors, removing roadblocks, escalating issues, and ensuring accountability across the project lifecycle.
Build and maintain strong and trusted partnerships with executives and business and clinical stakeholders while holding strategic partners accountable to meet defined commitments.
Participate in project and product request intake, managing review, scoping, and prioritization of initiatives.
Convert product priorities into tactical execution plans, partnering with Product Management and Engineering leadership to optimize and unify throughput.
Establish and manage project governance structures, including charters, RAID logs, and status reporting frameworks.
Develop detailed, data-driven project plans and forecasts, and track and communicate progress, quantitative and qualitative success metrics, risks, issues, and strategies for mitigation and remediation.
Deliver presentations and communications that reflect a clear understanding of corporate and organizational priorities.
Own project budgets, resource planning, and change control protocols.
Foster positive team dynamics and working relationships to ensure a healthy, productive working environment.
Act as a strategic partner and “voice of the customer” to internal teams, identifying product and experience improvements.
Document and share project learnings, innovations, data, and best practices to improve team processes and delivery standards.
Stay current on relevant LifeStance product and solution capabilities in order to align project goals and outcomes with evolving business value.
Requirements
8+ years of experience managing enterprise software implementations within small start-up environments as well as at large enterprise companies
5+ years in a customer-facing project management role, ideally within a professional services, solution delivery, and/or consulting organization in the healthcare industry
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams of 10+ in complex environments, influence decisions and actions without direct authority, and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines
Deep understanding of product management processes and Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies (Agile / Scrum certification is a plus)
Skilled in project governance practices, risk management, and the use of tools like RAID / IRAAD logs, status reports, project charters, critical path diagrams, burndown charts, production readiness plans, testing strategy documents, etc.
Strong proficiency with common project management software platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Monday, etc.)
Experience with one or more common enterprise EHR software platforms (AdvancedMD, Epic, Athena, Oracle, etc.)
Functional understanding of behavioral health use cases, business and clinical workflows, and privacy and data standards (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.)
Well-versed in navigating and connecting people and organizations by identifying, managing, and simplifying complex interdependencies
Strong analytic skills, with experience using one or more common enterprise BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) to generate actionable insights from large data sets
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to a variety of audiences and stakeholders, paired with meticulous attention to detail across written communications, status reports, and project plans
