Independently performs technical accounting work, budgeting, and expenditures tracking for the Office of Realty and Capital Planning
Performs personal services budgeting planning and control
Maintains accounting records for interagency grants and federal grants
Maintains documents of contractual obligations and SAP earmarks
Completes RDT forms and FS12 forms for the deposit of revenues received
Establishes spending allocations for selected capital accounts and for operations of the ORCP
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Requirements
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college with courses in business administration and accounting or four years of technical accounting experience
Two (2) years of experience performing detailed work involving the application of accounting theory to routine accounting or auditing problems
Two (2) years of technical working experience evaluating problems of moderate difficulty and analyzing and interpreting less complex accounting records and reports
Two (2) years of experience performing detailed work involving written or numerical data and making arithmetical calculations rapidly and accurately, either manually or by machine
Two (2) years of experience establishing and maintain satisfactory working relationships with other employees and the public
Elementary knowledge of office methods, procedures, standard office accounting machines and equipment
