Role Overview
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care.
Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional abilities.
Implement treatment plans designed to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Document patient treatments, responses, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and home programs.
Communicate changes in patient condition and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Pennsylvania.
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Home health experience preferred, but not required.
