Role Overview
- Continuous process technological optimization, development and planning of processes and plants in close collaboration with production.
- Execution of smaller investment & optimization projects in Evonik's existing production plants in China and beyond.
- Contribution in the optimization of existing production processes as part of continuous process development.
- Leading of process development projects with interdisciplinary teams.
- Development of innovative process technological concepts and methods for the production of specialty chemicals.
- Responsibility for the planning, coordination, and execution of experiments in the laboratory, pilot plant, or production environment.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor or above degree in the field of process technology, chemical engineering or similar natural sciences.
- International study background and degrees are desirable.
- Ideally over 10 years of experience in the petrochemical/specialty chemical industries.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Committed and loyal team member with high self-motivation, flexibility, and creativity.
- Interest in being part of a global expert group.
- Willingness for international business travel.
