Role Overview
- Provide operational leadership for the engineering team
- Ensure machinery and systems operate safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively
- Achieve 100% uptime through reliability-based maintenance practices
- Implement equipment inspection and monitoring programs
- Define maintenance best practices
- Continuously evaluate operations to enhance effectiveness and maximize performance
- Supervise engineers and maintenance staff
- Manage contractor activities
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain all infrastructure documentation
Requirements
- 7+ years of facilities-related work experience
- 5+ years specifically in a leadership/managerial capacity
- Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes
- Understanding of construction planning and execution
- Exposure to HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
