Role Overview
oversee effective program intake and recruitment, participant support, and training outcomes
manage stakeholder relationships and compliance of funding contracts
provide strategic leadership of Employment Training programs
co-lead Employment Training Department business planning
manage team finances and ensure departmental budget is implemented
develop and maintain strong industry and community engagement
facilitate collaboration among team members and departments
Requirements
post-secondary education in business, economics, human services, or related discipline
demonstrated leadership qualities and care about people
assertive communication skills
enterprising and innovative mindset
experience working with marginalized individuals such as low-income populations, immigrants, Indigenous people, and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals.
knowledge of adult education and curriculum delivery
program management, planning, and development experience
results oriented
strong organizational and time management skills
strong knowledge of program evaluation and continuous quality improvement
high level of computer literacy and tech savviness
experience in fund development and contract management (asset)
knowledge of community economic development (asset)
knowledge of skilled trades and/or technology sector (asset)
