About this role
Role Overview
Contribute to the AI product roadmap across HCM, TSCM & VCPM product lines, and own the delivery prioritised AI features and capabilities within.
Identify and evaluate opportunities to embed AI and machine learning capabilities into existing OneOcean solutions, prioritising initiatives based on customer impact, technical feasibility and commercial value
Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate complex AI/ML concepts into clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
Engage directly with customers, end users and internal maritime domain experts to deeply understand workflows, pain points and opportunities where AI can drive measurable improvements
Champion a data-driven approach to product development, defining key metrics and success criteria for AI features and continuously measuring outcomes against them
Work with UX and design teams to ensure AI-powered features are intuitive, transparent and trusted by maritime professionals both on board and ashore
Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI, large language models, predictive analytics and maritime technology, bringing outside-in thinking to the OneOcean product strategy
Partner with commercial and go-to-market teams to articulate the value proposition of AI features, supporting pricing, positioning and customer communication
Manage the AI product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through to delivery, launch and continuous improvement
Ensure responsible and ethical AI practices are embedded in all product development, including data governance, model transparency, bias mitigation and regulatory compliance
Contribute to cross-functional planning processes including quarterly roadmap reviews, sprint planning and stakeholder alignment sessions
Requirements
Proven experience as a Product Manager with a strong track record of delivering AI/ML-powered products or features in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment
Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing, predictive analytics and large language models
Ability to bridge the gap between technical data science teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into clear business language
Strong product discovery and user research skills, with experience conducting customer interviews, synthesising insights and validating hypotheses
Data-driven mindset with experience defining product KPIs, running experiments and making evidence-based prioritisation decisions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
Experience working within agile product development methodologies
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a willingness to operate across multiple product domains
Desirable
Experience working in the maritime, shipping, logistics or related regulated industry
Familiarity with maritime operations including crew management, planned maintenance systems, voyage planning or regulatory compliance workflows
Hands-on experience with AI/ML tooling and platforms (e.g. Python, TensorFlow, cloud ML services such as AWS SageMaker or Azure ML)
Experience with responsible AI frameworks, model governance and AI ethics in a commercial product context
Track record of launching AI features that have driven measurable customer and business outcomes
