Role Overview
- Oversee financial operations, ensuring accounting accuracy
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Optimize Accounts Payable
- Manage payment cycles including weekly checks, ACH, and wire transfers
- Resolve vendor inquiries and disputes
- Ensure accurate compliance with Tax regulations
- Lead closing process for month-end and year-end
- Mentor finance staff and streamline financial systems
- Drive organizational goals and KPIs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Master’s degree, MBA Finance or “CA Inter” Strongly Preferred
- 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and General Ledger accounting
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
- Exposure to internal controls and SOX environment in MNC
- Deep working knowledge of Workday and/or Oracle
- Mastery of VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and macros
- Deep understanding of GST, TDS and SEZ regulations
