Role Overview
- Responsible for initiating and developing engineering drawings through completion for assigned projects.
- Under direct supervision, completes design assignments of moderate complexity.
- Develops engineering drawings of moderate complexity.
- Familiar with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline.
- Understands the process of preparing designs and drawings using project specifications.
- Basic understanding of Engineer’s process of performing and verifying design calculations.
- Assists in the collection of data on manpower, man-hour, and labor costs requirements for design staff.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Autodesk Civil 3D experience
- Strong technical progression within civil engineering and design.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards.
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- ProjectWise
- Microsoft Excel
- Google Earth
- NavisWorks
- ESRI GIS
- Blue Marble Global Mapper or other GIS applications.
- Experience with other software such as InfraWorks, ReCap, Bluebeam, Revit a plus
