Ensure that all local businesses conduct their activities in line with ABB trade policies and guidelines
Drive and coordinate the local implementation of ABB’s Global Trade Program
Oversee compliance with customs, sanctions, and export control regulations
Provide training to country, cluster, region, or regional execution organization
Serve as a single point of contact for trade compliance authorities
Document and maintain trade compliance standards and procedures
Connect trade compliance with day-to-day operations
Monitor trade-related archiving requirements
Lead the implementation of ABB’s Global Trade Program in Finland and the Nordic cluster
Act as a trusted advisor on customs and trade compliance matters
Enhance trade compliance processes and controls
Develop and deliver trade compliance training and initiatives

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Trade, Law, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in trade compliance
Strong expertise in customs, export controls, or sanctions
Sound working knowledge of trade compliance governance, internal controls, and risk assessment
Ability to provide clear, practical, and risk-based advice on complex regulatory and operational matters
Broad exposure to key trade compliance topics, including tariff classification, origin, free trade agreements, customs procedures, export controls, and sanctions
Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring trade compliance processes and controls
Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
High level of integrity, sound judgment, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
