About this role

Act as primary interface between the business and the Global Export Control & Sanctions team
Develop understanding of Business Group(s) and translate into practical EC&S guidance
Act as first point of contact for EC&S topics and provide guidance to the business
Identify and assess EC&S risks related to transactions and support decision making
Handle and document escalations in alignment with the Head of Global EC&S Compliance
Work closely with Regional Trade Compliance Managers on local regulations
Support application of EC&S controls across key areas
Promote awareness within the business and support adoption of a “stop and escalate” mindset
Contribute to improvements of Internal Compliance Program and participate in EC&S projects

5 years of experience in export controls, sanctions, or trade compliance
Good understanding of export control and sanctions
Experience in a multinational environment or advisory role
Master’s degree in Law, International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
Familiarity with trade compliance tools such as SAP GTS is a plus
Experience in industrial or technical environments is an asset
Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
