About this role
Role Overview
- You are part of the AI Platform team, which is currently being formed.
- You build the path by which AI becomes productive for us: from prototype to production-ready application.
- Select and integrate components: LLM gateway, container runtime, workflow and agent orchestration, observability, cost tracking.
- Work in the team, not alone. Snowflake as the context layer.
- You make Snowflake the data home for our agents — for operational data.
Requirements
- Experience as a Software Engineer or, ideally, as a Platform Engineer
- Hands-on experience with AWS and data engineering, ideally with Snowflake
- Experience operating or closely supporting LLM-based applications in production
- Understanding of agents: tool use, context engineering, evaluation, observability
- High agency and the ability to justify decisions clearly
- You use AI daily in your own work
