Conduct scheduled and unannounced audits across all AUS accounts (onshore and offshore), maintaining complete independence from delivery teams, and produce written findings with risk ratings, root cause analysis, and evidence-based remediation tracking
Own and maintain the Australian LA Governance Framework, enforcing zero-tolerance cut-off governance controls and establishing validation gates to prevent abstraction from unapproved documents and processing without proper authorisation
Design and operate a proactive Quality Assurance programme, actively sampling work output across all accounts and producing monthly LA Health Reports covering error rates, compliance status, risk exposure, and trend analysis
Develop and maintain LA Operations Guides and SOPs for Australia, leading continuous improvement initiatives to identify inefficiencies, close gaps, and benchmark practices against global JLL standards
Maintain a consolidated financial exposure register and live risk register with escalation triggers, providing early warning signals to senior leadership before quality issues become client problems
Define minimum competency standards for all LA roles and design structured onboarding and training programmes, championing a cultural shift where LA operates as gatekeeper, not order taker
Serve as the onshore governance authority and single point of escalation for offshore LA teams, reviewing instruction quality and maintaining a documented escalation framework with clear triggers and response timeframes
Drive adoption of technology and tooling (PEGA, DealSumm, CoStar, Portfolio) as governance and quality enablers across all accounts
Develop account-specific process flows where client requirements necessitate deviation from standard, with formal sign-off and documentation
Participate in fortnightly remediation reviews, providing independent status updates on open findings and ensuring accountability across onshore and offshore operations
Requirements
Tertiary education in Business, Property, Law or related disciplines
At least 5 years of corporate real estate experience with proven business development results and deep Lease Administration operational knowledge
Demonstrated experience managing offshore teams and achieving deliverables across multiple, complex accounts
Exceptional attention to detail with strong data management capabilities and proven ability to drive accuracy and ensure compliance
Outstanding relationship, influencing, and stakeholder management skills—able to build trust, deliver superior service, and take tough stands when necessary
Strong leadership experience with both large and small teams, demonstrating an 'achiever' mentality and high degree of drive and results orientation
Creative and innovative thinker who develops sound strategies, mobilises organisations, and brings the best of JLL to every situation through effective networking and collaboration
