About this role
Role Overview
Develop service sales from lead generation to securing profitable sales
Focus on Installed Base (IB) and sell the entire Service portfolio
Build long-term customer relationships
Ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues
Promote various upgrades, retrofits, and value-add services
Understanding the channel strategy and pricing establishment
Prepare sales plans, review them, and propose recovery plans
Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities
Act as a marketer/salesperson of ABB’s service products during marketing activities
Requirements
Degree in Engineering Disciplines or Business
5+ years of experience in similar roles
Highly motivated with experience in agile market
Willingness to travel up to 30%
Experience in managing accounts and increasing sales growth
Solid stakeholder management skills
Data-driven pipeline & forecasting discipline (e.g., SFDC)
Proven tender/pursuit leadership up to complex, high-value solution deals
Effective written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English; German and other languages are welcome
