About this role
Role Overview
Support the implementation of the service strategy and enable service growth across workshop and field service operations globally
Lead the development and standardization of workshop and field service practices across ABB’s Motors & Generators service network
Strengthen service capabilities, ensure consistent ways of working across the global network, and support continuous improvement across countries and regions
Build and maintain a global service support framework, connecting workshops and field service teams with a structured network of experts
Requirements
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in Service Management or Operations
10+ years of experience in a technical, service, or engineering role in an international or matrix organization
Strong understanding of motors and generators or rotating equipment and related service practices
Experience with certification processes, audits, compliance frameworks, and quality standards
Experience in developing service networks, workshop capabilities, or global service programs
Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without direct authority
Fluency in English, with willingness to travel internationally as per business needs
