Civil Engineer II

Role Overview

• Engineering studies and design efforts on municipal drainage projects
• Hydraulic and hydrologic modeling designs for drainage basins
• Assistance designing drainage systems and local roadways
• Conducting traffic studies and designing roadway improvements
• Performing analyses using GIS tools
• Assisting in preparing stormwater master planning reports
• Review and planning of infrastructure improvements and sustainable design elements

Requirements

• 4-year B.S. degree in Civil or related Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• E.I.T (Engineer in Training) certification required
• Previous project management experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic principles of infrastructure design and plan preparation
• Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, preferably using ICPR4/Stormwise
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman service area (own transportation)
