Role Overview
Calculate energy savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, electrical, thermodynamics, mathematics, and statistics
Participate in energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements
Prepare technical reports
Support development of measures characteristics for program planning and BD efforts, with technical oversight
Understand building energy end uses and energy impacts of industrial processes
Support analysis of energy efficiency projects using various tools and software
Prioritize safety in all actions and tasks
Become familiar with the energy efficiency industry, industry trends, regulations and best practices related to energy efficiency and sustainability
Requirements
0-3+ years’ experience in the Energy Engineering field
BS Engineering degree
FE/EIT preferred
Tools Knowledge: MS Office, extensive knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word
Preferred but not required: Knowledge of energy modeling principles, data logging and analytics, programming, or others as defined by the specific position
If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
